Primary Job Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in handling Berntsen’s business growth by assisting with day-to-day marketing, sales, and system coordination. This role ensures smooth execution of marketing campaigns, sales operations, and system processes that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with effective communication and multitasking skills. This position works closely with both the sales and marketing teams to coordinate projects, manage leads, and maintain accurate systems and reporting.

To accomplish these goals, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator executes the following functions:

Marketing

  • Assist in identifying, qualifying, and tracking leads while supporting lead management processes.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and promotional initiatives.

  • Maintain and update company websites and digital content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.

  • Coordinate memberships, certifications, and partner programs, including SAM.gov, DOT, and small business registrations.

  • Track and analyze marketing and sales data to identify trends to support business development efforts.

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining marketing materials, presentations, and reports.

Sales

  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in the ERP and CRM systems.

  • Develop customer proposals and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads and coordinate with the marketing team on lead-to-sales conversion efforts.

System and Administrative Support

  • Serve as a point of contact for Sales and Marketing software systems, including CRM, ERP, and related tools.

  • Support setup, maintenance, and optimization of digital systems and workflows.

  • Coordinate training and provide basic troubleshooting for system users.

  • Research and recommend tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance marketing and sales efficiency.

  • Maintain organized records, track renewals, and ensure data accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales support, or administrative coordination

  • SAM Registration experience highly desirable

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), ERP software, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

  • Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
